I finally have a internet connection at home, w00t...is how I should feel, but I've got a lot of furniture to build from Ikea. So sadly I really can't get into the mood of uploading a full blog post with pics from Germany or pics of my new apartment. You'll have to wait for maybe tomorrow or sometime next week...there are some nice pics though, so stay tuned!
PS: If you have xfire you know that I have been playing some HL2 Ep1, but give me some slack. I need to relax and wind down too! (by killing evil monsters :P)

Ok, I'm not drunk anymore
After that $14 cocktail I had yesterday (that was 1 foot tall) I wasn't capable to write anything interesting. Today though may be different. I'm not drunk, and its freezing here (keeps me awake) So here are some of the things that took place in the past couple of days:
After arriving at the airport last Saturday I was picked up by my relatives and we headed straight to my mother's 60th birthday party. It took place at this restaurant on the top of the near "mountain". There were a lot more of my relatives there than expected (total # of epeople there was around 50) but I was great to talk to them - especially considering that I really didn't have too much interest in those small talks after only getting 3h of sleep on the plane. I ended up staying there till 11pm, getting home stuffed like a sumo wresler after his dinner, and then fell asleep with my tv on. One thing to note though. Except for one cousin all my other relatives are married or are in a serious relationship (they just don't believe in marriage). Great, just great....now they expect me to enrich the family with offspring? Maybe in the next 20 years, but I'm not planning on anything like that in the next couple of years. It sure is hard to have kids when you're single...plus i doubt that I can impregnate my right hand ;) just kidding! But who plans those things anyways, I just want to live life right now.
The next day, Sunday, I had a class-reunion (highschool class of 01). I was expecting about 20 people, more or less uninterested in eachother, drinking one or two beers and going home type of a meetup, but nope. There were 100 people if not more, a couple of teachers (including my chem teacher) and everybody was having a grand time. Man, a bunch of those girls look hotter than ever!...but alot of the people looked just like they used to 5 years ago. Sadly ibt didn't seem like many of them made it across the pond over to the Americas, but a lot of them were in different countries in Europe - especially this one girl I used to like...she couldn't come cause she is studying T-cells in Spain (real T-cells, not Thomas's cells). Anyways, we all had a great time drinking beer, listening to music and catching up. After the party we concluded the night with a good ol' smelly breath causing Doener Kebab and a game of Billiard. Bed time: 4am. :)
Yesterday (thats when I got drunk again) I went to a cocktail bar with my ol' freind Andy. Another friend Tine should have joined us but she was already back on her way to school to get some work done. It was nice sitting there getting drunk and talking about old interests, women in general and just catching up with whats going on. He is dating this hot French girl and I was trying to get some tips on how to be successful like him :). I wish I would have taken my digital camera cause that cocktail was way huge...I forgot the name of it but I think that it was along the lines of Zoomba or Zooma or something like it. All I remember was that they don't allow you have another one because its too strong. Good stuff!
Well, so much for now. I'd like to add some pictures, but my parent's only have a ISDN connection. Its soo slow that I feel like I'm using a 10 year old computer. Considering that my mother has a sexy sleek IBM/Lenovo x60s core duo and my father a pretty fast dell i really hope they get dsl soon - plus that way I could post pictures much easier.
Btw. just out of curiosity. I know that there are other blogsites like xanga or wordpress. Have any of you had any experience with one of them and what do you think? I'm pretty happy with blogspot, but was thinking of giving some other place a try. Who knows, maybe I'm missing out.

Germany....make me happy...
Hhaha...well, I've been having a good time so far. I was able to meet a ton of people that used to go to my school as well as a number of old friends of mine. All I can say is that the booze flows well when I'm in Germany and that I wish I could be here for at least another week. Oh wells, I'll just have to make the best of what I get :)
K, I want a smoke. I'm out

MAC/APPLE SUCKS!
So in light of the new mac commercials I see myself obligated to come back to the statement I used to enjoy spreading. MAC or better knows as APPLE sucks!
There was a commercial with two guys, one representing mac and the other representing pcs. Well, what happens is that the mac guy and pc guy start talking and the pc guy freezes. Then he starts blabbering and freezes again. So what the hell is this? OSX compared to Windows 95? WTF!!! Seriously though, windows xp sp2, which would be the one to be compared with osX is STABLE!!!! I currently have three windows xp computers (two laptops and one main computer) and they all run very well - I don't think that I've had any of them freeze other than the one laptop that slows down when I'm scanning for viruses (its bcs it only has 256MB of RAM). So they must be comparing the old windows operating system with the brand new / way expensive to update osx. Why do that? WHY?? Should microsoft go making adds comparing win xp with os9? or even better some older version of it?? Absolutely not, because all you're doing is lying to the customer. This is a tactic some communist leader would use, or some president we know all too much of...not a supposedly "great" company like Apple. From now on all I can say is that the little respect I had for macs is lost. Yes, they have a good os and some nice and expensive mp3 players, but they are just scumbags.
Oh, and speaking of os's: as a gamer osX is worthless. All great games come out on winxp. It doesn't mean that osx sucks, but that pc hardware vendors provide the needed hardware for the faster and better games, while mac is just making pretty and expensive hardware without having to compete with other vendors (well, they just buy their components from contract companies I think).
Oh, yeah...I forgot... you can run winxp on apple hardware. Is that the same as using a pc? I don't think so. All that does is that it makes apple the same as gateway or dell...sad stuff...

Boston
Today was my second day in Boston. Though the days have been long, I have to say that things are going much better than expected. Sure, I still feel like the other people are speaking Chinese (I speak Japanese, not Chinese!) but otherwise I've been having a blast. The expo wasn't the largest one, but it has many people that have to do with my company in one way or another - some even work for Dyneon, but aren't stationed in Oakdale. Anyways, the fun part of this event is getting to know the other people and to interact with them. They've been more than welcoming and its been fun going out to restaurants and bars with them. There are a lot of competitors that also interact with eachother and oh man, its funny to see two people take jabs at eachother while staying very polite. I'm sure I'll be seening a lot more of this...w00t!
The cool part is that many of them will be going to the trade show in Chicago next month - another one that I'll be attending. It'll be nice to go to a large show and actually know some people and I can't wait to see the size of this thing: its supposed to be huuuuuge.
Well, its around 1am and I have to wake up early tomorrow. I'm doing all well and hope that y'all are too...oh, and please leave me a note if you actually read this boring blog :D
Night y'all!

Creating a storage inventory
Sounds like a lot of boring and hard labor huh? Well, it was fun!! I found a lot of things from the past and a lot of strange things I wouldn't have expected my parent's to have. Here is a little taste of the fun Christian and I had:
This is Christian wearing the hat I used to wear when I was a baby. I can't believe how well it suits him :D
And this is me wearing the awesome russian winter hat.
Well, I would have liked to post more pictures, but its time to go to bed. I have to wake up at 5am and go to the airport to fly to Boston :) Au Revoir!
I'll post the rest when I get back from my trip.
